Eligibility hint

MDL No. 3094 in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania consolidates claims that GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide and tirzepatide) caused gastroparesis, pancreatitis, and bowel obstruction. Sodhi et al. (JAMA, Oct 2023) found about 9x higher pancreatitis rate, 4x bowel obstruction, and 3.7x gastroparesis vs comparator drug. FDA added ileus warning to the Ozempic label in September 2023. MDL covers Novo Nordisk (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus) and Eli Lilly (Mounjaro, Zepbound). Bellwether trials anticipated 2027.
